Bob’s Cove Nature Walk
Journey with our expert guides to one of Queenstown’s most scenic locations, Bob’s Cove. This jaw-dropping nature walk will introduce you to some very special wildlife.
Walk through native bush where our guide will point out local plants and bird life, including the famous Pūteketeke (Australasian crested grebe), recently crowned Bird of the Century.
Along the way you’ll visit a historic limestone kiln, fuelled in the past by Gum trees, which still tower over the walking track.
As an added bonus – visit a Lord Of The Rings filming location, Ithilien Camp.
Take a dip in the pristine waters of Lake Wakatipu (if you don’t mind the cold) or relax and take in the native bird song and mountain views.
Option to climb up Bobs Knob for spectacular 360degree views & Enjoy morning or afternoon tea with a view along the lakeshore.
